| | high school reunion part 2: a funny scene... | | When I was at the get together party or reunion, I just can’t explain what I went through sharing the time together with my long lost old friends. Oops. Well, I get to play with their kids also. not to mention that they allowed me to watch out for their kids as well. Wrrr. Well, I am still single as of now, and the sight of kids just makes me look happier. And what even makes it happier is when a kid just gets dancing with the beat of the sound. It was nice and so funny seeing that kid dance. So funny ended! Hehe. At one time, he was just running around then hearing the music, and the beat of the sound just keeps his feet to dancing. What a very nice sight to watch. Can you relate to me when a baby is dancing? Such a really hilarious sight indeed! Too bad we didn’t get to video it. Such a lovely sight! As I am writing this, I could just have the smile in my lips.. what a lovely sight…[em]lol[/em][em]happy[/em][em]thumbup[/em] | |
| | high school reunion part 1: being in the reunion.. | | HIGH SCHOOL reunion is so much fun. Isn’t it? Aside from the fact that you all get to meet long lost and old friends, you get to be introduced to their new families as well. Hehe. We just had our HIGH SCHOOL reunion yesterday, and it was so much fun! Though we don’t get to see others, those who were there were so lively. Especially with their kids with them. No words could paint the things I learned and had seen during the night, for it was the night of laughters and sharing the moment together. Reminiscing the past, and the silly things during those times while young. I could remember all of us were teasing some of them because they were both connected from before, and now, they are just so distant with each other. Hmm. Such a funny time to be sharing with them. It just gets me teary eyed to remember and reminisce, especially those close to my heart as well….. can you share some of your story as well? | |
| | high school changes.. | | Certainly, after college graduation, there lies the test to being the person who you really are. And you just find out that it is already over some five years that has passed already since you graduated. And much worst, it is double the year since high school graduation. Then, you started thinking about who are left in the area where you are in. and who are those who worked in a distant place. And of course, those who are already married, or even not, but is living in or is having kids and children. Well, all of these thoughts and thinking are just some of the few being answered and cleared during our high school get together. It wasn’t really a reunion, for we know for the fact that a lot would not be there. Hmm. But there has been a lot of changes over my high school classmates in a span of time and years. There has been. And along with that, is the maturity of each one of how we view life there is. And even with financial matters. They could give tips and advises and even hints on how to effectively be thrifty and of course in child rearing...sigh[em]rolleyes[/em]...it was really a different emotion seeing them. And hearing them grow old maturely by age and with kids. Hehe. | |
| | high school to college.. | | College has really transformed every human individual students from high school. It certainly did it’s work over every student and allowing us transform from one to another. And this situation has plagued every relationship, either the best ones or the good ones, in high school. No matter how strong your connection with each other during those times in school together, sooner when entering to college, things had and will never be the same again. Priorities changed, and new friends come. Blessed are those who are with the same course I think. But to those with different, it is really not the case. As for us, things really did changed amongst us. There were those who are being torn by distance and are alienated from one another. And there are those who remained true even up to the present. And of course, there are those who are really being dragged away by some negative happenings.. such a tragic phase of a life there is during college. But, if you are able to adapt quickly, then blessed are you.. | |
| | The Worst Thing About Your Senior Year Of High School . . . | | My son is graduating this year. He couldn't be happier. It was a good year, except that he regrets not participating in school sports, even though he's a great athlete. He plays in a band and he got caught up in concerts, short tours and whatnot. Anyhow, the worst of it though, was the construction that went on in his school for the whole year. Half the school was fenced off while they built a new parking lot, office and cafeteria. Even the pool was reconstructed. I'm amazed the students didn't have to wear hard hats to school and no accidents happened (the latter being a good thing, of course). What was the worst thing about your high school senior year? | |

| | what to have at a high school reunion | | got the invitations out, got the place. got a band, buffet dinner, dancing and bar at the reunion. got to get decorations... any ideas on this and also what else should i have at the reunion? thanks for the great advice | |
| | When you were in High School, do you always bring your own paper? | | Actually, when i was still on elementary, asking for papers on your classmates is prohibited. When i was in first year high school, i brought all the needed stuffs in school, unaware that most of the students here dont even care bringing their own bag or even pens. Then months after that, i was kinda influenced by this. its just very funny because when our teacher conducts test, like 70% of the students go towards those smartie pants and asks for papers LOL. | |
| | Do you need a high school diploma to do EVERYTHING? | | Firstly, I do have my h.s. diploma, but was told a while back there are certain things you don't need a diploma for. Yes, you do need one to get into a good college, and yes, you do need one to get a good job. But one of my dad's friends has his own company, its a landscaping company I believe, and he never graduated from high school. I have heard of people earning success who never finished high school; but it doesn't happen for everyone.
What do you think? Do you need a diploma for everything you do in life? | |
