See what others are saying about Insurance Agency Software!| Today insurance agency surprised me | | We had a major ice storm about a month and a half ago and there was quite some damage on the cars, house, ect. I have my house insured as well as cars too, so of course I reported the damage. The cars were fixed weeks ago, but when I got the amount of money for the damage for the house I didnt agree because they have forgotten a few things. So I written an additional letter with explanation and today I got another calculation. I was really surprised seeing that they have increased the amount quite a lot. So all in all I got 8.000 euro damage returned. Which is more then enough to fix the damage of course. I am surprised as I always thought insurance companies just take money but when it comes to paying back they find zillion things so they dont have to pay more. This time they really did pleasantly surprised me.[b]Have you got any unpleasant experiences with insurance companies? Or did they always pay fair?[/b] | |

| | Insurance companies, they STINK | | Ok, I've had it your darned if you do have insurance and you are darned if you don't have insurance.Insurance copays fro reg. doctor visits are 15.00, specialty visits are 30.00And lord help you if you need have any testing done, because it isn't covered! the last therapist wanted to test her for autism, we couldn't afford the testing 2 parts and 125.00 a pop. Insurance covered NONE.....They say that its not medical, and if we want it done we have to pay, which could run ito thousands upon thousands of dollars, and unless you are rich you can't get the testing...Oh and by the way, we don't qualify for any government programs because we make to much....so the word is we're screwed.And hten if you get a quack, yes quack, my termonology for duckto....er doctors.....and you don't agree with him, you end up fighting with him, or battling the insurance company for a new one, and they don't want to pay the evaluation fee again, so they say second opinion is out of our pocket.Sorry had to vent on insurance companies.

| | dealing with insurance agents... sheesh! | | I just saw a commercial that is so far from the truth it's nearly comical. The lady has a wreck and her insurance people sent a rental car to her house for her. That might actually happen. But she had received a cd of music from her grandchild and it was missing. When she got in the rental the next morning the agent had placed the treasured cd in the player. The next scene is her talking to him on the phone and telling him thanx with him responding with, "no problem!" Okay, let's be real. To get anything from an insurance agency is like pulling good teeth... it's not easy! Then for them to actually be personable and care about the "little things" not even real! | | I have left my Job but now I am restless | | I was working with a bank. The job was very good with good salary and lots of future scope. My life and future were secured. I was happy with what I was doing. But due to slow down in our country many people in my office were layed off. And those of who were left were give additional work with no extra pay. I now spent more time at work and my social life was cutoff. So I started planning to do something different. I planned to leave my job and start an Insurance agency of my own. So I left my job last month. Things were fine for some time after I left my job. I met many people and got them insured. But for the past few days I was rejected by some clients. I was a little frustrated. I become restless at times when I have no work. What I had planned before leaving my permanent Job is actually not working now. Life is becoming tougher. There is scope for more business, but things are getting delayed so I am becoming restless. There is proper cash flow in my business as I insured many people in the beginning. So there is no problem of money. The only problem is I am not getting work to keep myself busy with some productive task. So I am trying to keep myself by writing articles,... | |

| | My son is unbelievable. | | Last night, after I got home from work with my kids, I sent my son outside to the dumpster to take some garbage out. Keep in mind I live in an apartment complex. He took a little longer than I thought he would, but I didn't think anything of it, thought he was just dilly-dallying around outside. Low and behold, after he came in, about 5 minutes later my neighbors from the next building over, came knocking on my door. Turns out, that while he was supposed to be taking the garbage out, he was in actuality outside, taking a rock and scratched up 4 of my neighbors vehicles. And not unnoticeable scratches...they were fairly large scratches. The neighbors that came over to tell me were one of the victims. So, I was on the phone with my insurance agency and talking to a cop all at the same time last night, plus trying to figure out what would be a good punishment for my kid. I couldn't even speak to him. He is 8 years old. He was issued a juvenile citation for destruction of property, but that doesn't really amount to much. I think it might have had more of an impact on him had they come and picked him up and taken him to the juvenile center, but then again, I guess it wasn't major... | |
