The CD's just play stuff, like the sounds of the ocean, but you cannot actually hear any language. Somehow there is subliminal messages hidden in the nature sound that enable you to learn another language.Have any of you tried to use any CD's like this? If you have tried them, did you learn anything? | |

| Language learning tips | | Has anyone got any really good language learning tips?I would love to learn another language. But, I do not visit one specific country on a regular basis. I'm not married to someone who has another language as their first language. My foreign friends speak English better than I do!I'd love to learn another language. But I would like to do it for fun, and find that without some urgent practical need to learn a language, I am finding it difficult to motivate myself! How do you learn another language just for fun? | |
| | Are you afraid of being laughed at when it comes to language learning? | | Are you afraid of being laughed at when it comes to language learning?
Our English teachers always told us never to be afraid of opening your mouth to speak, or making mistakes. But are you always courageous enough to speak an unfamiliar language? Tell us your language learning experience, whether it's Chinese, or English, or any other language, and whether you're afraid of being laughed at when you make mistakes
what's your idea?

| What can i do for my language-learning wish | | Having been learning English for some 11 years, i find what i have learnt are no more than thousands of words and some complex sentences. But when i open my mouth i do not know what i can say and how i can, and even sometimes in a discussion i say something in English, my classmates are always confused with what i have said for they can not follow me for my poor pronunciation. So embarrassed! So i wish to improve my spoken english and pronunciation at all times, but unfortunately, i find no matter what i have done for it, my prounciation is still so poor! So is my english listening! What ca i do, and how should i do? | |
