| Have you tried Rosetta Stone? | | I'm reading the reviews on Amazon and lot of people are giving it bad reviews. Is there a better way to learn a new language? I don't really want to take a class at the community college or take private classes. (they also have 6 and 12 month which cost up to about 300)Buy cds and all software to own:Level 1: 209 dollars
Level 2: 225
Level 1,2, & 3 combined: 500 dollarsSo for each language if you want to own the complete and full program you'll pay about 500 to own it and about 300 a year to 'rent it'. Either way it is far cheaper then taking courses (in fact most colleges charge 500 and up per credit for a college course (so each level might cost 1500 a course)Does Rosetta Stone really work? | |

| Is the Rosetta Stone progam a good way to learn Spanish? | | I would really like to learn more than the 30 or so words and 12 or so phrases I know in Spanish. I do not have the money or time to do an immersion program and I do not think reading a book like "Spanish for Idiots" is a resonable way to learn a new language. I think hearing someone speak is an essential part of the learning process.Has anyone used the rosetta Stone software or know of another good program for learning Spanish? | |

However the price is steep and it costs hundreds of levels just for one level alone. Has anyone tried this product and have you seen results?Currently I am attending weekly French classes at my local alliance Francaise and am watching as many dvds as I can in French as well as listening to French songs on my ipod and completing French exercises on free websites on the internet. | |
| | Rosetta Stone | | I have recently bought and used a Rosetta Stone to learn Spanish with. Rosetta Stone is, i have to say, one of the best pieces of software i have ever used in my life. If you a trying to learn a language, buy Rosetta stone. I Swear to God i am not getting paid to write this. i am fourteen years old and i doubt they want a testimonial from me. I had a bead experience with a Spanish teacher in school, she threatened to strangle one of the other students with their own tie, and threatened to break my fingers of if i did not pay more attention. She is quite the cheerful woman. oh not to mention she broke the article 23b subsection 1123 of the New York State education law, confidentiality of records. She broke this by releasing a students grades to the class. But my purpose was not to rant about her it was to tell you, Rosetta Stone is amazing. It is simply the best way to learn any language, or at least Spanish. Adios! | |

i sometimes practice my english in language exchange community,where i see many people are learning their second or third language there.there is a list for everyone that which languages you are learning and which language you already master.i see many people there master 3 or 4 language there and are learning 2 or 3 language at same time.
and for me.i am chinese,chinese is what language i master but i learn english for many years and japanese for about 2 years
i want to learn some spanish in future if i have time
